Synopsis

A leading company in the Mining and Metals industry is looking to employ a HR Coordinator Transformation Operations to provide HR advice and support to the operations through provision of transformation related services. Ensures all aspects of HR support are delivered in a timely manner and in line with Operations guidelines and HR practices.

Description

Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of effective processes or systems in support of Mining Charter, Social and labour and Employment Equity requirements.

Responsibilities

Execute

  • Development and approval of Employment Equity Plans
  • Coordinate the development of Social and Labour Plans and reports
  • Ensure an adequate administrative and record keeping and reporting system
  • Establishment of Women in Mining Forums and Employment Equity Forums
  • Manage pregnancy in the workplace
  • Gathers, analyses, evaluates and disseminates information on
  • Transformation trends to facilitate decision-making by Senior Management and Executives

Decide

  • Implement recruitment or planning strategy, policy, guidelines and tools in support of HDSA Targets
  • Execute projects to meet transformation targets
  • Solutions for meeting overall staffing build-up plans in support of HDSA Targets                                            

Recommend                 

  • Group Recruitment and Talent Management Targets in support of HDSA Targets                           
  • Projects to meet transformation targets
  • Solutions for the attainment of the transformation targets as set out in the Social and labour Plans and the Mining Charter

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent thereof

Experience

  • At least 5 years HR experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Computer Literate for the role include SAP
  • Innovative and forward thinking

  • Confident and assertive
  • Results oriented
  • Good presentation Skills
