Synopsis

One of the reputable financing institutions has a vacancy for an individual who has an eye for details, critical thinker and can embrace change. The purpose of the role is to manage the organisation' process change initiatives ensuring integration of software applications with existing organisation processes and ensure the alignment of the organisation strategy to the technology.

Description

  • Ensure change projects are aligned to organisation goals.
  • Ensure changes to IT systems are aligned to organisation requirements.
  • Oversee the analysis of organisation processes and application systems to determine process change requirements and ensure the alignment and improvement of core systems going forward.
  • Provide recommendations based on own insights or after having received input from the organisation.
  • Oversee improvements to processes and better alignment of applications with business processes through an effective change procedure.
  • Facilitate the change management process in respect of process or application adjustments.
  • Develop, manage and maintain project plans specifying goals, strategy, identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of resources.
  • Maintain a stable production environment through the change process.
  • Ensure change happens in a controlled manner and is aligned to the organisation’s growth strategy.
  • Oversee day to day administration of the change process.
  • Ensure team accurately record all process changes and supporting documentation on the change database.
  • Provide continual input and monitor the organisation and applications relationship to ensure NCA demands are met by the software environment.
  • Manage implementation of new processes as per the policy document.
  • Manage service delivery from vendors as per service level agreements.
  • Post implementation review and assessment of all projects or changes.
  • Proactively focus on key future initiatives.
  • Contribute to IT systems and technology strategy so as to build systems and ensure consistency of operations.
  • Change in system enhancements and all projects, must have a return on investment.
  • Identify new technologies to be brought into the organisation to improve efficiencies and return on investment.
  • Liaise effectively to build excellent relationships with various stakeholders to the change process.
  • Source and maintain relationships with service providers.
  • Act as a facilitator and change agent to enable the merger of business processes with applications supplied by the vendor.
  • Actively coach, train and empower internal and external team members to create an understanding of skills and specialties.

Requirements

  • Relevant Degree, Diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional Project Management qualification would be advantageous.
  • Must have at least 10 to 15 years related experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects within budgets.
  • Experience in Financial services essential.
