Synopsis

Our client, a financial services group, is seeking a Group Marketing Business Manager to provide an effective and efficient support to the Group CMO in the execution of strategic marketing outcomes and initiatives.

Description

  • Act as a point of contact for Group Marketing Community and channel appropriate information to these stakeholders ensuring feedback and follow up.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationship with Group Marketing Community and stakeholders.
  • Address and respond to queries and potential concerns by crafting responses on behalf of Group CMO, conducting and applying research and collaborating with specialists in the Marketing Community while ensuring feedback and follow up.
  • Act on behalf to the Group CMO to formulate a decision, collate input and follow up on action for approval/finalisation.
  • Conduct research and present to Group CMO on trends, best practices and future considerations in the Group Marketing field.
  • Make recommendations to Group CMO based on strategic marketing initiatives to ensure Group Marketing remains relevant and effective.
  • Create channels that monitor project progress and deliver reports that accurately reflect the progress of the project.
  • Collate, compile and distribute documents and reports to the required standards within defined time-frames for a variety of audiences.
  • Manage the execution of Group Marketing initiatives and provide regular feedback on progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate the feasibility of Group Marketing projects that support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Promote and support the alignment between the various Group Marketing initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • In collaboration with Group CMO drive the alignment of Business Unit and Group Marketing scorecards to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Support Group CMO with the identification and management of risks.
  • Drive and support the performance and delivery of the Group Marketing objectives in line with strategic outcomes.
  • Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects and marketing plans.
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products.
    Support Group CMO in liaising with internal teams to ensure brand alignment and increase brand awareness and equity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver on expectations to clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.
  • Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.
  • Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
  • Continuously monitor turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance client service delivery.
  • Drive client service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards in order to ensure that clients receive appropriate advice and after sales service.
  • Manage client query processes and ensure that queries are tracked, accurately resolved and used as a mechanism to improve client service and business processes.
  • Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage financial and other company resources under your control with due respect.
  • Control the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.
  • Manage high risk and problematic financial issues in area of accountability and contribute to the development of policy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years Group Marketing experience.
  • Competence in digital marketing strategy, business development, corporate communication, marketing analytics and metrics.
  • Exposure to various marketing segments and industries.
