A leading financial services provider is seeking a Programme Manager to plan, direct and co-ordinate the activities of enterprise-wide projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished. The incumbent will consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, funding limitations and staffing requirements for delivery and integration of related projects.


  • Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters.
  • Identify and analyse issues in project delivery systems, resolve conflicts and implement solutions in support of strategic and tactical goal achievement.
  • Develop, produce and maintain plans and track and report on progress and performance of identified projects.
  • Continuously monitor actual project progress and resolve issues speedily to enhance effective client service delivery.
  • Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values.
  • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within the group and/or across the FRG.
  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development.
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.
  • Focus on tactical service plans to deliver and continuously provide a consistent, seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances.


  • Relevant undergraduate degree/diploma and project management certification.
  • 10-12 years’ project management experience, with a track record of delivery of projects.
  • Experience in practices, principles and tools of administering a large-scale portfolio of digital transformation and related projects across multiple organisational units.
  • Knowledge and application of multiple project methodologies and importantly the ability to create hybrids of best practices suited to culture, people change management and journey management conditions/expected outcomes.
