Synopsis

Our client, an established Medical Fund Organisation is currently seeking an individual to assume the role of Communication Coordinator. The successful incumbent will be responsible for all daily communication functions that occur within the organisation, as well as strengthening the organisations brand and image through coordinated communication.

Description

  • Oversee the development of communications plans for specific projects.              
  • Lead the development of content, based on project briefs.          
  • Disseminate drafts for internal comments/feedback.      
  • Integrate comments and oversee the sign off process.   
  • Forward to agencies for layout, design and submit for final approval.       
  • Oversee implementation of flawless scheme communication.    
  • Develop annual stakeholder communication plans.          
  • Ensure flawless communication and education to members, brokers and medical service providers.          
  • Submit draft for review and approval.    
  • Implement communication plan.
  • Facilitate internal briefing sessions for content development.     
  • Develop content in line with brief and circulate it for sign off.     
  • Deliver flawless communication in line with brief.            
  • Liaise with key stakeholders for effective implementation.           
  • Archive all final communication content.              
  • Participate in the development of the integrated communications marketing strategy.    
  • Participate in implementation of strategy.           
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to communication SOPs within the business.       
  • Oversee implementation of key business messaging.      
  • Develop all internal communication content in line with brief.    
  • Utilise internal communication processes and channels within the business to improve information flow and effectiveness of communication within the business.      

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Public Relations or Degree in Communications/Journalism or equivalent.
  • 5 years in Managerial position
