A notable financial services provider is currently seeking an individual to assume the role of Senior CVP Proposition Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing compelling and differentiated value propositions that achieve customer growth targets, as well as assisting the organisation in meeting its business and market share objectives.


  • Assume responsibility for all customer segment group research including extracting customer data and analysing profiles to determine market segment requirements.
  • Understand and Identify the needs, behaviours and drivers of customer choice of respective Every day and Life Moments across Customer Activity Cycle Map.
  • Leverage market research to get insights into consumer behaviour and preferences and drive future programs and promotions.
  • Understand the end to end customer journey and moment pathway.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market sizing.
  • Identify existing company performance and initiatives underway across business units and functions in the bank.
  • Identify existing customer pain points, challenges and key dependencies.
  • Identify opportunities for the segments and translate the insights gathered to design compelling, disruptive and commercially viable targeted CVP’s.
  • Support a work cell / collaborative approach with Product, Distribution, Marketing, Credit, Learning, Finance, Rewards, IT and Operations, etc. to develop and implement the value proposition.
  • Drive enablement of the proposition.
  • Achieve the desired revenue with Segment Heads by designing and developing customized retention and acquisition programs for the Private Wealth segment.
  • Drive increased market expansion and penetration with Segment Heads by creating a roadmap and strategy for customer acquisition, in line with overall business and marketing strategy.
  • Continuously monitor the delivery of the propositions through feedback from channel, customers and complaints and determine how the proposition and its delivery can be enhanced.
  • Collaborate with cross business and functional BU to understand and drive enrichment of the proposition.
  • Pro-actively reach out to external stakeholders to inform the diagnostics and design elements of the proposition.


  • Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree.
  • B-degree in (Behaviour) Economics, Commerce, Marketing Management or Business Administration.
  • MBA or other equivalent post graduate qualification would be advantageous.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in developing, implementing and being accountable for crafting a Segment CVP, take to market strategy and segment business plan.
  • At least 8 years of experience in roles with wealth management, retail banking, marketing, customer strategy, market insights, experience in user centred design, client research, product management, and customer related experience.
  • Customer Experience and User Journey Mapping experience.
  • CVP Design experience.
  • Customer Journey Maps Knowledge.
  • Design Thinking and knowledge of Research Methodologies.
