Our Client, a leading confectionery organisation, is currently seeking a vibrant individual to assume the role of Junior Marketing Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting the organisations marketing team to achieve its defined targets, related market share and competitive position of brands.


  • Support the Marketing Team in preparing the annual strategic plan to defining volumes, P and L, activity plan and other related activities.
  • Collect and package data into information useful to define actual and future positioning of our brands in comparison with competitors’ actions.
  • Support the Marketing Team development of advertising creation and briefs and manages creative agencies and monitors and controls the outputs related to brand plans.
  • Propose and support the promotion strategy definition and performs periodical alignments with the Sales Force and the Trade Marketing unit, to evaluate current projects efficiency, competitors’ behaviour and operating activities performed at the points of sale in liaison with the Brand and Marketing Managers.
  • Takes part sales forecast process, with Sales, Logistics and Trade Marketing departments.
  • Conduct research studies which deal with operational issues such as pre- and post-test, performance of new packaging, market data monitoring, assortment, pricing, and other related activities.


  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing Management or similar.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a related field.
  • Experience with SAP, Nielsen, Euromonitor (advantageous).
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • Goal driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
