Synopsis

Our Client, an eminent video entertainment organisation, is currently seeking an individual to assume the role of Outsource Vendor Management Specialist. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing input into the organisation’s outsource strategy as well as managing vendor performance against contracted service level agreements across all relevant countries.

Description

  • Monitor, track and report on Vendor operational performance (frequency daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Establish frequent (monthly, quarterly, annual) performance reviews with the vendor and publish performance improvement plans where required.
  • Ensure that the vendor/s are aligned to the #CustomerFirst strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate Vendor/s capability to deliver against #CustomerFirst.
  • Establish measurement criteria to evaluate the vendor/s contribution to the #CustomerFirst performance.
  • Provide required support to ensure realisation of these initiatives (training, comms, etc.).
  • Determine gaps and overlaps for vendor management tasks/activities.
  • Scope business requirements for vendor contracts in line with principles defined in the overall Care Strategy.
  • Build contract framework and work with legal to negotiate.
  • Ensure legal, legislative and regulatory compliance has been catered for in all vendor contracts in conjunction with Corporate and In-Country legal and regulatory teams.
  • Obtain timeous signing of contracts from all relevant stakeholders and ensure compliancy with contract governance.
  • Establish SLA's linked to vendor output and agreed review period.
  • Ensure that #CustomerFirst requirements are included in the contracts.
  • Establish Risk management practices.
  • Ensure and drive process and policy adoption.
  • Build and maintain risk register for key areas of vendor/s deliverables and identify and implement controls and mitigation.
  • Evaluate Vendor/s ability to deliver Business Continuity against defined risks.
  • Define reporting requirements needed to measure performance.
  • Drive the delivery of the reports through CII and vendor/s.
  • Validate content, accuracy and sign-off reports.

Requirements

  • Relevant B Degree / Diploma in Operations Management, Vendor Management, Legal or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multiple Outsource Vendors.
  • Experience managing costs centers and budgeting.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Operations management experience.
  • Supply Chain knowledge (advantageous).
  • Project management experience (advantageous).
