Synopsis

With your five years Motor Assessing experience, monitor the correct execution of all department procedures and processes through random audits as an Accident Assessing Manager at leading financial insurance company.

Description

  • Plan and implement a sustainable monthly training programme for all Gauteng teams - both technical and service related
  • Conduct and approval of write-off assessments above pre-determined amount
  • Monitoring and auditing of all additional repair costs
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Gauteng team managers on problematic and technical
  • repair decisions
  • Monitor assessor allocations and control daily assessing count sheets - take corrective
  • actions if required
  • Draft monthly department performance report including performance on all KPA's and
  • one insight into area for improvement in department
  • Contact all clients and evaluate validity where very bad FB is received
  • Set up and conduct formal feedback sessions with team managers where FB is valid
  • Attend to re-assessment on very feedback if required
  • Attend to claim queries from Call centre staff requiring management input
  • Attend to refer to Manager claims same day
  • Promote SIAS service Superstar concept and share excellent service feedback with team

  • Monitor cell phone and petrol card expenses of department
  • Identify staffing per priority as per projections
  • Liaise with HR on needs
  • Approve short list of applicants
  • Conduct interviews and approve successful candidates
  • Approve Job offers
  • Oversee ordering of computer and other tools of trade items
  • Monitor initial training period of assessors
  • Analyse and develop plan of action to correct problems identified during talk-outs
  • Conceive and implement creative methods to encourage team coercion
  • Participate in leadership development initiatives
  • Encourage and measure team manager self-development through bi-monthly appraisals
  • Define and implement team key performance area goals to achieve overall department

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Management qualification / studies essential
  • Panel beating experience essential
  • Minimum of five years Motor Assessing experience
  • Minimum of two years manager experience
  • Valid Driver’s licence and own car
