The main purpose of the role is to assist Financial Advisors to effect Section 14 Transfers within business rules and provide quality service and ensure continual business performance.


Key Outputs:

  • Proactively identify problems, apply known solutions in line with procedural guidelines and escalate unresolved problems. 
  • Plan and organise own work routine and task execution in an effective and efficient manner to reach agreed performance objectives. 
  • Deliver on agreed performance objectives according to set procedures and service level agreement.
  • Escalate unresolved operational delivery and quality issues to team leader / operational management. 
  • Report on transactional activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability. 
  • Utilise a variety of software packages to produce correspondence and documents and maintain associated records, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Contribute to the provision of a comprehensive administrative service through the correct interpretation & application of procedures.
  • Generate a variety of documents and where necessary produce reports according to set standards and prescribed guidelines.
  • To establish and maintain relationships with internal departments and external Transferring Companies
  • Applies technical knowledge of regulatory requirements, processes, investment and insurance product knowledge especially legislation governing Section 14 Transfers and relevant FSB Rules and processes.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 2 years experience in a similar environment
  • Insurance industry knowledge
  • Basic understanding of investment management processes and procedures
